Not only did I have a chance to reunite with the previous graduates of FBI citizen academy, but I also had a once in a lifetime experience at FBI Quantico in Washington DC.

Fascinating and mind blowing 🤯 experience of a lifetime. Next on my list…. CIA headquarters!!!

Life of a CEO: Frequent time zone hopping. What a day! In just 6 hours, I navigated through 3 different time zones and here I am still keeping up with my work. When you live a go, go, go lifestyle, it’s easy to take your foot off the break and take a day off. That day then becomes another, then a week goes by, and you’re now a week behind. My Philosophy is when you’re determined you don’t let anything stand in the way. No rest, no excuses, no BS, just hard work.

La vida de un CEO: Saltar de un huso horario a otro. Qué día! En solo 6 horas, viajé por 3 diferentes husos horarios y aún así estoy intentando ponerme al corriente con mi trabajo.
Cuando vives una vida tan ajetreada es fácil querer soltar el acelerador y descansar por un día. Pero ese día se convierte en otro y antes de que te das cuenta pasó una semana. Mi filosofía es que cuando eres determinado no dejas que nada se te ponga en el camino.
No hay descanso, no hay excusas, solo esfuerzo.

Wow, it’s been six years and I’m still the big

Wow, it’s been six years and I’m still the biggest supporter of our amazing men and women in blue! Despite some people being against law enforcement, I’m here to say that I appreciate and admire these brave and courageous officers who risk their lives every day to keep us safe.

I’m so thankful for all the ways God has blessed me and I try to use these blessings to support the police in any way I can. So, I just want to take a moment to give a big thank you to all the law enforcement officers out there. Your dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed and I am so grateful for everything you do to keep us safe.

What you may not know is that I am also an avid supporter of the Miami-Dade County Police Department and the brave men and women who risk their lives every day so that we can all live our lives in peace👮👮‍♀️.

Every month, the MDCAP selects a Miami-Dade County Officer of the Month who has shown exemplary performance in keeping us safe. There are 6 amazing officers that I am proud to honor at the next awards ceremonies. This is my way of paying it forward and saying thank you to the guys and gals in blue for keeping our community safe.

I am challenging you all to do the same and pay it forward to benefit your community in any way you can. 🎁

Si me conoces sabes que soy un fiel creyente de que hay que devolverle siempre a la comunidad.

Lo que quizá no saben es que soy activamente parte del apoyo para Miami-Dade County Police Department donde mujeres y hombres valientes arriesgan su vida para que los demás podamos vivir seguros.

Cada mes los del MDCAP seleccionan a un policía mensualmente que muestran un desempeño excepcional. Hay 6 increíbles oficiales que me siento honrado de felicitar en la próxima ceremonia. Esta es mi forma de devolverle a la comunidad y agradecerles por lo que hacen por mantenernos a salvo.

Los invito a hacer lo mismos y buscar formas para apoyar a nuestra comunidad devolviéndoles un poco de lo que tenemos.

Success has very little to do with talent or skill

Success has very little to do with talent or skills. It has everything to do with consistency over time.

When I started in the profession over 30 years ago, there were many more skillful and talented individuals that had all the right ingredients to be much more successful than me, however 99% of them failed to succeed long term for a simple reason that they were not consistent with their activities and actions overtime.

The only thing matters long term in our profession is constant and never ending improvements day in day out. (Kaizen)

El éxito tiene poco que ver con talento y todo que ver con la consistencia a largo plazo.

Cuando comencé esta profesión hace más de 30 años, había muchas personas con todos los ingredientes para ser más exitosos que yo y aún así el 99% de ellos fallaron en conseguir el éxito a largo plazo por la simple razón de no ser consistentes con sus acciones.

Success in our business is the same concept. It requires years to become a true success by taking small steps and making efforts every day. 👨‍💻

As Malcolm Gladwell says in his book 📖 “Outliers”, the 10,000 Rule: “10,000 hours is the magic number of greatness.” Success in any business requires at least 10,000 hours which is equivalent to 5 years of full time or 10 years of part time. 🤯

So keep that in mind when you’re starting a new business in any industry. Consistency is the key to unlocking your true potential. 🔐

Those of you that know me, know I’m a big fan of “Paying it Forward”. I was fortunate enough to be able to contribute to this amazing life changing organization in Colombia 🇨🇴 last month Aldeas Infantiles SOS Colombia. This organization is dedicated to preventing and addressing sexual and physical abuse of innocent children and strengthening families, which is a cause that is near and dear to my heart❤️.

This is just the beginning. We’ve been blessed and want to spread love and bless others .

Do something kind for someone this holiday season no matter what it is. The most precious contribution you can give to pay it forward is by being present to support the cause.

Los que me conocen saben que soy un gran admirador de pagarlo devolviendo. Tuve la suerte de poder contribuir a esta increíble organización que cambia vidas en Colombia 🇨🇴 el mes pasado Aldeas Infantiles SOS Colombia. Esta organización se dedica a prevenir el abuso físico y sexual de niños inocentes, además de fortalecer a las familias, lo cual es una causa muy cercana a mi corazón❤️.

Este es solo el comienzo. Hemos sido bendecidos y queremos compartir el amor y las bendiciones con los demás.

Haz algo bueno por alguien en estas fiestas, sin importar lo que sea. El aporte más valioso que puedes hacer para retribuirlo es estar presente para apoyar la causa.
